Military Affairs Committee

The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Committee, is designed to uphold and support the Mission of The Chamber and enhance relationships between the military and civilian communities by helping promote local commerce and services to active-duty personnel, military spouses, and retired Veterans. This committee is a volunteer group of retired military and local business owners that works together to support Whiteman AFB.
Some of the many benefits of being a member of the MAC Committee include:
- Increased name and face recognition for you and your business/organization
- Media coverage from attendance at Chamber events
- Opportunities to enhance relationships between military and civilian communities.

The MAC Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at noon, and they meet at Colton’s.
Ambassadors

Service is the goodwill arm of the Chamber. Our ambassadors host the Annual Awards Banquet, do annual member visitation, have monthly meetings, recruit new ambassadors, and encourage growth in the Chamber activities. They are instrumental in our ribbon cutting ceremonies to help introduce new businesses. They also assist with the monthly Chamber breakfast, Business-After-Hours, and various fundraisers.

Please join us for our 2nd Annual Hot Air Balloon & Kite Festival June 7 – 9, 2024. It will be hosted on the Missouri State Fairgrounds at Gate 9. Event times: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. This will be a free family event with the help of our wonderful community and local businesses.

For over 50 years, the Christmas Parade is held in Downtown Sedalia has drawn hundreds of people to the community to kick off the holiday shopping season. This year the Sedalia Chamber Christmas parade is going to be held on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
